I love JENGA! I think it’s such a fun party game! I love the thrill of finding the one loose block and building the tower higher and higher! There was one party where the blocks had Truth or Dare slips of paper taped to it. THAT was fun!! Great memories made. My friend even did a “Get To Know You” game with JENGA blocks. I love how versatile this game is.
JENGA Boom is for ages 8 and up. You can play this with by yourself or with as many people as you’d like.
The new JENGA Boom game is an explosion of fun! The edge-of-your-seat action is taken to the next level with a ticking-timer-exploding platform underneath the tower of blocks. Players now have to rush to push, pull and stack the blocks without knocking over the tower. Just be sure you make your move before the platform blows!
The game comes with the standard 36 blocks and a stacking sleeve with instructions. JENGA Boom comes with a toy detonator.
The toy detonator is “triggered” by pulling on the string and pressing a button to lift up the detonator. You stack the blocks onto the platform to get ready to play. When it’s your turn to take a block to build the tower, you press a button to start the timer. You turn off the timer when your block is stacked up safely on top of the tower.
The new version of this game is definitely a lot more nerve-racking since you no longer have time on your side to take your time! I felt a lot of pressure as I was playing with my three year old daughter. Silly I know but I’m sure I’d feel the same playing against you!
My three year daughter is obviously under age but she loved playing this game. She loved pressing the button to start the timer and building the tower. She didn’t really get the concept of how to stack it but I’ll make an exception for her.
This would be a really fun party game to play with your family or friends. The added timer makes it much more exciting in my book!
