I haven’t posted a recipe in a while so here’s one of my recent favorite discoveries. If you’re struggling to figure out what to make for dinner tonight, breakfast for dinner is always a great go-to meal idea. I found this syrup recipe the other day and my family loved it so I’m sharing it with you. To quote the recipe name, it’s “the absolute best pancake syrup recipe.” Enjoy!

The Absolute Best Pancake Syrup Recipe

1 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Bring butter, sugar, buttermilk, vanilla extract, corn syrup, and cinnamon to a simmer in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Once simmering, whisk in baking soda, and cook for 10 seconds before removing from heat. Serve warm.
