Acne… not the first topic I want to sit down and talk about, but whoever said Acne was just for the hormal teenager? They obviously haven’t met a hormonal pregnant woman, or an adult still fighting acne in their twenties and thirties. I just happen to have experience with both of these recently.
After being pregnant, and getting the hormonal acne I was at a loss of what to do. I am a regular routined person when it comes to my face. I wash my face morning and night, use a facewash, but nothing can control these hormonal changes which is why I just had to accept their presence for a while. This time around it seemed worse, maybe because I was an adult, and feeling embarrassed knowing this make up was just pointing out the obvious all over my forehead and neck. As the acne would go away, the spots and reddish spots still remained. I still felt like I had to cover it up with make up.
Dermagist has this product that helped make this experience disappear. I started to use the Acne Scars Fading Cream. It was easy to add to my morning routine. I used it on my clean skin and waited for about 3 weeks before seeing a change, but it was happening. I could tell the cream was sensitive and working because it wasn’t a quick fix. It was working into my skin and making the changes gradually. I used it for another week and loved the results.
I an almost-30-year-old, feeling too old for acne but embracing the change as it happens. I do what I can to keep my skin clear but when break outs happen, I know the scars or marks won’t last forever especially with the fading cream. I would recommend it for those that have lingering marks from their teenage years or if you are like me and still have the occassional breakouts because of hormonal changes.
