My husband is not one to use shaving cream. He just splashes water on his face and shaves. So I thought the Shave Well Fog Free Shower Mirror would be perfect for him since he does often shave in the shower.
Here’s some information about the Shave Well Fog Free Shower Mirror before I let you know how we liked it.

Did you know…
- A dry human hair takes about as much force to cut as a copper wire of identical diameter.
- After three minutes in the shower, the tensile strength of your beard is reduced by nearly seventy percent!
- A close, comfortable shave requires a lot of moisture. What better place to get wet than in the shower!
Shaving in the shower is the most comfortable place for a man to shave. The moisture and steam greatly soften Dad’s beard and make it much easier to cut, resulting in a closer more comfortable shave. When you get out of the shower and towel dry, your face quickly loses the benefit of all the moisture from the hot steamy shower. Once your beard begins to dry, you can be literally tugging on each and every hair on your face instead of neatly slicing it at the skin’s surface and moving on without irritating your skin.
The Shave Well mirror offers a clear reflection for a truly fog free shower shave. Fog occurs on most so-called fogless shaving mirrors when the warmer moisture in the air condensates on the cooler surface of a wall-mounted mirror. The Shave Well fog free shower mirror removes easily from the wall mounted hook – simply hold it under the shower stream for a few seconds. In that short time the temperature of the moist air and the mirror surface will equalize to create a long lasting, truly fog free image for the duration of your shower. No more temperature difference = no more fog!
Shaving in the shower also means less mess around the sink for you-know-who to clean up. A shower shave lets the cut whiskers go right down the drain. And when Dad is not hogging the shower, Mom can use the mirror to help exfoliate her face, remove make-up, or simply see herself as she says her daily positive affirmations.
We tried out the mirror and it worked great! You just take the protective sticker that also has the instructions on it and hold it under the warm water for a few seconds and then use it. Super simple. Sure you see the water spots on it but no fog to cover and block the mirror where you can’t see anything. It also comes with a hook to put in your shower so you can just hang it and use instead of holding and only using one hand. We didn’t install the hook since we already had a shower caddy that had a hook on it. The hole in the mirror is pretty big so if you don’t want to use the hook it comes in, you don’t have to. The mirror was pretty neat to use and worked as advertised! If I didn’t have my husband try it out to review, this would have been a pretty neat gift to get for him.
The Shave Well mirror is the #1 selling shower mirror on Amazon.com and consistently ranks in the top 200 Health and Personal Care items sold on the Amazon.com site.

I was not compensated for this post but I did receive a mirror to facilitate my review. Any and all opinions here are mine.

Omg I am such bad wife do you know my husband asked for this last x-mas? Well he did. Did I get it? Nope, know why? Simply forgot! Seen this giveaway & knew I had to try. If I do not win, I will just have to buy this myself. Somehow he will get this for this x-mas 2012! My hubby shaves everyday for work. And gets razor burn sometimes. I think I know why. He isn’t shaving in the shower. According the review I read today. Thanks for the info & the chance! to win.
