dot mine planners: A Review and Giveaway

My Life. In Balance.

School is starting, time to get things in order- school calendars, sports and extra curricular activities, play dates, my at-home business to run plus my hubby’s work and other commitments I need to keep track of.  This is going to take something special.  Normally, I have a monthly calendar and a weekly calendar and go between the two.  I was just about to get each when this chance came up to try the dotmine day planner.  It came just in time!

I got the Life_Time.Mine.  There’s also a version for Family and Teens. They are fun on the outside- lots of different styles to choose from and I found one that fit me well.  There’s even a questionnaire on the website you can use to find your perfect match!  I chose the Renee:

I love the story of how DotMine got their start: Sarah and Lisa were busy working moms running their households and got together to create these planners- they are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year!

These planners are 17 months- which is what is needed to help get through a school year and into the rest of a calendar year at the same time.  Then any notes from Aug-Dec of next year I can transpose into the new planner.  This is what I started with on the page above, before school began- the rest of the calendar got a lot more filled in once everything started!

There’s even a pocket in back for the papers to keep for reference.

The weekly pages are great for our everyday activities- the side columns even help me keep my business tasks and home tasks separate.  Menu planning is one area where I need to write it down or I do the mommy-panic and try to cheat through dinner.  It also gives me a spot for my weekly goal at the top of one of the pages- something I want to accomplish that isn’t part of the everyday hustle and bustle.  There are 2 columns on each weekday- I use the left side for morning appointments and reminders and the right side for afternoons.  My goal is to get the left side done before picking kids up from school- the right side is mostly filled with their activities that we need to do to finish out the day (sports, scouts, etc).

I use the monthly pages for my business- dates that deposits are due or other important dates for my client’s vacations.

You can purchase dotmine planners through their website  and they’re offering our readers a 10% discount with the code MOANASAVES. There’s even some fun FREE .pdf’s on their website.

Enter to win a dotmine planner of your own!  Check out the Rafflecopter widget below for our mandatory entry for this giveaway as well as several optional ones.
