My 2 1/2 year old is going through some independent growth because she doesn’t want any help when going to the potty but needs help regardless of her independent desires.  When I recieved the  Little Looster both my daughter and I set it under the toilet and she instantly climbed up to sit down.  I got excited thinking she would immediately want to sit and use the potty.   As she got up and down a few times that first day, I saw that the looster gives her a tad bit more freedom! It was amazing how comfortable she felt once that Little Looster was there.

Little LoosterWe’ve been slowly letting our toddler discover potty training and now the Looster.  It sits well under the toilet bowl so there is enough room for her to stand up and situate her self.  I could see that she felt sturdy.  I used to worry about my toddler since she is so little compared to an adult toilet (little potties and even the cute padded princess seats don’t interest her), but the looster showed me that she is not going to fall in.  She doesn’t have to balance herself or sit too far back on the toilet to be comfortable. It was looking like the perfect solution!

Then complete unexpected happened: my daughter decided to just jump on the toilet and use the bathroom.  I came out of my son’s room from settling him down for a nap and couldn’t find my daughter.  We’ve been on a potty training high for over 24 hours so I looked in the bathroom, and there she was.  She was so excited, she used the potty all by herself!  This came out of nowhere, and I have a feeling the Looster assisted her confidence.

So I know this is just from a little girl’s experience but when my nephews come over and a few of my daughters friends who have used the looster, I didn’t see any issues for them.  It was just what the smaller boys needed to use as a stool, and the older boys didn’t need to move it to use the restroom either.   As an adult, the looster is not in the way, nor do you need to remove it from its spot.  The looster fits perfectly, and won’t be moved very much at all.

I noticed that my daughter would like to stand up and wash her own hands instead of having me help her and with our pedestal sink, it may be be the perfect fit as well.  Looks like we need 2 Little Loosters!

Little Looster is offering one lucky Moana Saves reader a Looster for her little toddler preparing for potty training. To win, complete the mandatory entry and any optional entries you’d like via the Rafflecopter widget below.  Good luck!
