Two of my favorite foods are hot sauce & bacon. Serve them together in one spicy bottle? Wow! You’ll definitely get my mouth watering.
I am loving this opportunity to review the one and only flaming pig product called Bacon Hot Sauce. Really? Bacon flavored hot sauce? When I heard of this sauce I started imagining ribs smothered in bacon hot sauce on the grill, buffalo chicken wings spiced with bacon hot sauce, and best of all a juicy burger dripping with hot sauce. Are you hungry yet?
I served me some bacony hot sauce on a beef slider topped with cheddar cheese and my yummy Hawaiian Pineapple Relish. The verdict: the smoky bacon flavor is noticeable but not overwhelming while the heat of the hot sauce adds the perfect zing. I’m the type that sticks my finger in dripping hot sauce and licks it and I did exactly that with these flavorful drippings. The next time I entertain I’m planning on making the Bacon Cheese Ball recipe found on Bacon Hot Sauce’s website. Cream cheese, bacon and heat all in one delicious cheese ball to serve with crackers? Sounds delicious!

Ick, I don’t eat hot sauce. Lol. I’m a big wimp when it comes to hot and spicy. Hubby LOVES hot sauce though. I’m trying to win for him. And bacon is added to the hot sauce flavor? OMGosh, he’ll be in flavor heaven. Lol. He adds hot sauce and a few other things to food before he even tastes it. Crazy.
