Father’s Day is in two weeks!

Giving is so important to me. I’m a crazy planner and my birthday and Christmas presents are usually planned at least 6 months in advance. My gift-giving criteria is three-fold: 1) functional 2) memorable and 3) worth the price tag. Have you ever bought an engraved gift? There’s something about a gift that reminds the receiver every time they look at it how much they’re loved. This year my husband received his Father’s Day gift two weeks early. I am sitting here typing these notes on the wonderful piece of work I am reviewing. This is an ingenious accessory that every iPad lover should get as this accessory instantly transforms your iPad into a laptop. Working on the go never felt so good! Here are some of the things I especially like about this product:
- Cover feels soft and good quality (not sure if it’s genuine leather).
- Quality stitching and overall cover design.
- Cover fits nicely around the power plugin. This was a problem with Apple’s cover.
- Keys on the keyboard are soft and responsive.
- Soft keys don’t scratch the glass iPad screen.
- Bluetooth keyboard connects smoothly and is automatically recognized after the first time, making for easy setup.
- Engraving on the front personalizes the ensemble and makes it feel official and complete
- Long battery life of the bluetooth keyboard. (90 hours)
- Compact design and not too bulky to carry around.
- Haven’t found a negative yet (except for maybe that there is only one shift key on the keyboard and it is on the left side (left) and I’m used to pushing the right shift)
- Hot keys at the top of the keyboard allow you to go to the home screen, adjust the volume, play a movie or song in an application that is running, and search for something on your iPad.
- Magnetic clip securely holds the cover closed when not in use
- Outer cover flap that you use to prop up the iPad while typing is stiff and sturdy.
To sum it up, my husband says: “Excellent product! I am thoroughly impressed.”

I had a difficult problem choosing my favorite product, but finally decided Movado® Cube Clock. I have never seen or own anything like it before. Build quality seems top-notch. I can see myself passing this down my kids or close relatives when it’s all over.

I would LOVE to have the USB pen to give to hubby. He is forever looking for a pen and a stick to transfer data from his computer to mine so I can help him with billing. Combining those two things is sheer GENIUS! I love it. As far as engraving, I have to think on that. Maybe something like ‘Remember me’ since it’s a memory stick. I don’t know. I’d have to study on that one. lOl.
