I love to be in the sun (good thing I live in Hawaii), no matter what I’m doing: playing, working, relaxing, whatever. I’m pretty sure the rest of my body agrees with me… except for my lips. Ever since I can remember, I’ve gotten sun blisters on my lips when in the sun for long periods of time. I never wore sunscreen growing up (gasp!), but when I was old enough to understand what was going on with my lips, I’d always put sunscreen on them. To this day, I still do that, and force my kids to as well. I say “force” because sunscreen doesn’t exactly taste great if you get a hint of it in your mouth.
